Munich (Day 3) – Fairy Tale King

We woke and had our same Bavarian breakfast. I was still severely suffering from jetlag so my mood wasn’t the best (if anyone knows me I am just not the best in the morning – ask Gabe!). We left the hotel headed to the Central station Hauptbahnhof and for some reason this train was hotter than hell so I just decided to try and sleep it off. Two and a half hours later we made it to the most beautiful City I have ever experinced in my lifetime, Fussen, right up there with Yellowstone National Park and Lake Tahoe, Nevada. After this day I told myself I could never complain about the heat and the trip because it is where the train took us I can never forget.

Everyone grows up watching Disney and must have probably seen Game of Throwns. Those are nothing compared to the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. I will let the pictures say the rest. Not e we couldn’t take pictures inside of the castles so just imagine what the inside of these beauties could only look like.

Finally back in Munich, we headed to the Paulaner brewery for a typical German dinner. I had a “Schweinshaxe” (a ham hock) and Gabe had “Kasespatzle”(Better version of Mac and Cheese), and everything was delicious! It was late when we headed back to the hotel to get ready for our trip to Austria tomorrow early in the morning.
